Judge Dustin P. Rowe

Chief Justice Cheri Bellefeuille-Gordon swore in Judge Rowe as District Judge on January 10, 2011.  Judge Rowe served as Special Judge from October 26, 2005 to January 10, 2011 and served as court advocate prior to that.

Judge Rowe earned his B.A. with honors from East Central University.  He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he was named a Lee B. Thompson scholar.  Upon graduation, his classmates awarded him the professional responsibility and leadership award.  He is an alumnus of the National Judicial College in Reno, NV, and he maintains active participation in continuing legal and judicial education.

Judge Rowe is an enrolled member of the Chickasaw Nation and is a lineal descendant of Mamie Cravatt Hughes, an original enrollee.

Judge Rowe is Chairman of the Johnston County Bar Association is a charter member of the Chickasaw Bar Association where he is a past Chairman.  He is admitted to practice before the Chickasaw Nation Supreme Court, the Oklahoma Supreme Court and United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.

Judge Rowe is actively involved in numerous civic and church activities.  He and his wife are active runners and have completed numerous half-marathons and marathons.  He is the proud father of two children.
